Hi! I'm trying to render a video that has no background, but I don't want my video to become a black background when I render information technology, I want information technology to be transparent. Whatever solutions to this besides chroma keying?
Thanks in advance.

Some AVI and MOV formats support Blastoff Layer (RGB32) encoding.
MP4 does non.

@Former user7.7.nine setup didn't properly finishing. I'll doing new attempts.
Note too in VP 17 Options > Preferences > Deprecated Features, Enable the Quicktime plugin.
@vkmast Yeah, this option is checked from showtime time i had set preferences.
Edit: Setup finished (maybe due to Photoshop closed) simply however no QuickTime...
@Former user @vkmast Which ones components do you install? I uncheck all except the "Quicktime essentials". I'll try to reboot...

Yes quicktime essentials . Don't need the rest.
Without a 3rd party plugin information technology's not possible to salve alpha channel only vegas17 disables quicktime by default? And so the convoluted fix to saving alpha aqueduct in Vegas just got even more convoluted fifty-fifty though other editors such as Resolve will automatically cull quicktime and salve alpha aqueduct correctly if you using the text generator to create overlays etc.

I don't sympathize :
QuickTime appears installed, then Why That :
??

@Sylk Using a mov template you need to select a 'Video Format' such as png, in the drop down listing, that supports 32 bit in guild to take an alpha channel.
Or employ uncompressed avi which has the option for including an alpha channel. But your file size will be monstrous of course.

I have same version quicktime. Not sure what the problem is. I don't have vegas17.

@Sylk Using a mov template you demand to select a 'Video Format' such equally png, in the driblet down listing, that supports 32 bit in order to have an blastoff channel.
@EricLNZ The problem is precisely that QuickTime is non bachelor in the VP17 encoders listing.
Not certain if this helps
But it does do Transparent..
